After purchasing a historic home in Harwich Port, the owners opted to undertake renovations in stages with earlier renovations refurbishing the existing rooms, and adding a master suite and family room to the rear of the home. Our portion of the remodeling involved gutting and rebuilding the kitchen. Working within the footprint of the existing kitchen we created a much more functional space with a center island that includes seating. At the same time, we opened up the space by removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room, and laid new wide-pine flooring throughout the dining room and kitchen, and an adjacent sunroom and master suite, which created a sense of continuity from room to room.
