Design Services

“Our architectural services go far beyond the norm.”

Our in house architectural service starts with either a new design concept or the modification or remodeling of an existing home. In either case, our in house designer will start with very detailed sketches, including perspective views to insure the aesthetics of the house will be in accordance with what the customer had visualized. Please note that these are not just rough pencil sketches but very artistic and detailed renderings not normally offered by other builders.

When the overall concept is accepted from the sketches, then the actual building plans are formulated. This starts with a floor plan layout of the entire house and square footage consisting of individual room layouts and sizes as well as window and door location and sizes. This often has to be revised as the customer reviews the plans for additional changes.

Once we have an accepted floor plan, the next step is to create the actual building plans consisting of the elevation views for the front, back and sides of the house which will be a reflection of the preliminary sketches but will show the exact look of the house. These views will be exactly to scale and will be used in construction. At this point a definitive price can be established for the house.

Summation of our services:

We are constantly working with people off Cape and realize the concerns that may arise when one is not present for the construction process. Our total in house design, building and engineering serviced should give the customer peace of mind by having all concerns under one roof. We can make in house changes and revisions and quickly fax or email them for approval. Once we have a piece of land to work with, everything required for building from perc test to permits to Historic or Conservation will be our job to keep our clients concerns to a minimum.
